The brief was to explore branding options for the Unilever Start Up Rewards identities for two awards - The Social Pioneers award and the Best Job for the Planet award.

Branding options for the Social Pioneers award. 

These options are inspired by the word ‘pioneer,’ represented with stylised and bespoke compass icon as a hero. Options 1 and 2 include other icons to represent sustainability (recycling icon and leaf), people and communities (person), love for the planet (heart) and ideas that have the potential to change the world (lightbulb.) 
These options are focused on ideas about community, love for the planet and awareness of bigger social issues. Option4 represents united people working together for the good of the world. Draft 5 and 6 are inspired by the award’s goal - to prove that when you put people and the planet at the heart of your business the outcome is beneficial to everyone. 
Branding options for the Best Job for the Planet award. 

All of these options are based on ideas surrounding environmental issues. Option 1 depicts holding the world up with pride and responsibility. The hands in option 2 represent a protection and love for the planet and those living on it. Finally, option 3 is an abstract, typographic option meant to look more organic, and handmade rather than being corporate.
